BASF-LP35 reel to reel 1/4" audio tape 270m

A brand new unused BASF LP35 reel to reel audio tape of 1/4" width and length of 270m or 900ft, enough for One and a half hours per track at 3.75 inches per second speed or 45 minutes per track at 7 inches per second speed.

The reel is supplied on a 13cm or 5 inch spool hub. 

Please note:  due to the age of the product, there may be more initial shedding of the ferric oxide onto the heads in the first pass through the reel to reel recorder, but the sound quality is still very good (we have tested) and after the first pass the shedding is minimal, so for the best quality recording you may want to run it through the player completely first and then do your recording on the second pass after cleaning the heads. There can also be some external discolouring of the packaging due to aging too.
